Our community center in
South Jakarta, Indonesia is a place where we don’t feel alone. It’s a place where we feel at home.
We find strength in Sisterhood.
Since 2018, over 1,000 refugee women have attended our activities - online & at our community center in Jakarta.
Refugee women who were socially isolated have made friends, gained confidence from their new skills & felt encouraged to become active in their communities as teachers, interpreters & representatives.
Our mission is to strengthen the bonds between women of all faiths and backgrounds and to promote the rights and well-being of refugee women.
Our members come from many different countries including Afghanistan, Cameroon, Eritrea, Yemen, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan & Somalia.
Weekly classes in English literacy, computer literacy, tailoring, handicrafts, hairdressing, & make-up.
Supporting physical & emotional wellbeing through yoga, art, mental resilience programs, heath education & clinics.
