What happens when refugee women have the opportunity to lead? In 2025, The Sisterhood expanded its reach, developed new leaders, trained a new Sisters in Justice cohort, launched multilingual SGBV resources, and created more opportunities than ever for women to learn, connect, and support one another.
Our 2025 annual report shares the story of a growing movement built by refugee women, for refugee women.
Explore our 2024 Annual Report - a testament to our shared resilience and the strength of our community. Together, we will continue to rise, to advocate, and to demand the world that refugee women and girls deserve. There is strength and power in Sisterhood.
2023 was a big year for The Sisterhood. We became a registered organisation, reopened our community centre after 3 years of closure due to the pandemic, celebrated our 5 year anniversary, and involved more than 400 members in livelihoods, advocacy and women's rights awareness raising.
