SGBV Survivors Guide

SGBV Information and Support

The Sisterhood's Survivor's Guide aims to provide refugee women in Indonesia, particularly those living in Jakarta and surrounding areas, with crucial information on:

- Understanding sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV)

- How to report incidents and find support as a survivor of gender-based violence

- Seeking legal protection from SGBV within the framework of refugee rights in Indonesia

The full guide elaborates on the various forms of SGBV, outlines the procedures for reporting cases, includes details of hotlines and services, and guides you on how to write a chronology.

Shorter versions of the Survivors Guide are available in Arabic, Farsi, and Somali (below).

Additionally, videos are also available to further support refugee women in Indonesia.

This initiative was researched in partnership with LBH Apik Jakarta and aims to empower women's rights through education and resources. Published in 2023.
